If the second most populous municipality in Alicante said goodbye to 2021 with the arrest of the young man who murdered his partner on Christmas Day and then barricaded himself in the house of another ex to take her baby, on Friday the arrest of a minor under 15 years of age took place who allegedly killed his parents and little brother after an argument over the grades.
Just five days after the bodies of a couple with signs of torture and who had been missing since 2019 were found buried in the Barranco del Grifo.

While waiting to determine if the student suffers from any mental health problem, the agents who took his statement this Friday after his arrest have revealed "his coldness", while his serenity "out of the ordinary" has drawn attention. .
As sources from the investigation have confirmed to Efe, the young man has not expressed
any type of remorse
either , despite the fact that he
lived with the three corpses of his family for three days
before being arrested.
The events occurred last Tuesday, but it was not until Friday when the young man confessed what had happened to a neighbor who asked him about her parents, whom he had not seen for days.
It was then that her minor told him what he had done, after which the woman gave the alarm to the Police.
Agents of the Civil Guard and the National Police traveled to the family's house in the
Elche district of Algoda
, a rural area far from the urban area of Elche and dotted with palm orchards, chalets and small agricultural buildings.
In fact, this would have allowed the young man to keep the bodies hidden in the shed of the family property, without the neighbors suspecting anything or being alerted by any shots.
The triple crime was committed last Tuesday in the family chalet and, according to the first investigations, the young man used
his father's hunting shotgun
to perpetrate it.
The first to be killed was her mother, with whom he argued about her poor academic performance at school.
When her mother reproached her for her high number of failures and her refusal to help with her family's agricultural tasks, she also threatened to take away her Wi-Fi and mobile as punishment.
This provoked the anger of the young man, who took his father's shotgun and shot his mother with it.
He then killed his 10-year-old brother and waited for his father to return home, whom he also fatally shot when he found him.
That same Tuesday, the boy
hid the three bodies in the shed where the family kept the agricultural tools
, and where the agents found them on Friday, that is, three days after the crime.
The young man, who during that time continued to live normally on the family farm, will now be placed at the disposal of the
Juvenile Prosecutor's Office
.
He will surely have to enter a juvenile center as a precautionary measure.
The bodies of the couple and their 10-year-old son have already been transferred to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Alicante, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
The tragedy has shocked all of Elche, as pointed out this Saturday by the mayor, Carlos González, who has declared feeling "dismayed".
In statements to Efe, Carlos González has confirmed that the consistory has decreed
three days of official mourning

"These are tragic and incomprehensible events," he said, while conveying "all the affection, solidarity and affection for the families of the victims."
