Paris police reported 54 detainees during the action "Convoy of freedom"

Minister of the Interior Gérald Darmanin announced this on his Twitter.

“Thank you to the police and gendarmes mobilized this weekend throughout France, and in particular in Paris, to ensure order and freedom of movement.

There are 337 statements and 54 detentions in Paris,” the statement said.

Earlier it was reported about 44 detainees.

Protests are taking place in Paris against measures introduced by the government to combat the spread of the coronavirus.

The demonstrators oppose, among other things, sanitary passes.
