  Park Geun-hye, 70, who is currently hospitalized at Samsung Seoul Hospital due to a worsening chronic disease, decided to return to her hometown of Dalseong-gun, Daegu, after she was discharged from the hospital.

  In January of this year, her lawyer bought a villa worth 2.5 billion won (about 13.29 million yuan) locally, and currently only pays the down payment.

  Park Geun-hye received an amnesty at the end of 2021, ending her 4 years and 9 months in prison, and has been in hospital since then.
