It was in November that the police assisted the Enforcement Officer at a property in Bräcke municipality.

When the police found the first explosives, it was decided to search the house.

During the house search, 66.12 kilos of dynamite explosives, about 500 detonators of various kinds and just over 600 meters of stub of various kinds were found.

In addition, the police found about 150 cartridges, both bullet cartridges and shotgun cartridges, as well as an unusable shotgun.

Denies crime

The owner of the property, a man in his 55s, denies any wrongdoing.

He has said in questioning with the police that he had no idea that the things were in his home.

The man is now charged with a serious violation of the law on flammable and explosive goods, gun crime and violation of the gun law.

The prosecutor believes that it can not be ruled out that the explosives would be used in criminal contexts.

The trial is set to begin on February 14.
