"Dubai Residence" participates in the UAE Innovation Month with 5 innovative projects

The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai reviewed a package of the most important projects, proactive services and innovative models, during its participation in the UAE Innovation Month 2022, which was launched under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, Ruler of Dubai. May God protect him, on the 1st of February and continues until the 28th of the same month under the slogan “The Emirates Innovates”.

The establishment of Dubai, the state institutions, participates in the activities of the "UAE Innovation Month", the largest national event of its kind to celebrate creative ideas and future initiatives, within the platform of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security, at the Expo 2020 Dubai, during the period from 12 to 16 February.

Lieutenant-General Mohamed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, said that innovation is a sustainable wealth and a basis for the development of peoples and the progress of countries into the future. For his part, Colonel Abdel Samad Suleiman, Deputy Assistant Director for Entrepreneurship and Future Affairs, said that the language of innovation has become the dominant language in government work, and this is what the administration sought and was keen to employ in all its fields, adding that the administration’s participation in the month of innovation came with the aim of contributing to the promotion of The country’s position as a global center for innovation and the creation of a wide-ranging culture of innovation to enhance the work environment and enable the country’s overall competitiveness at the regional and global levels.

5 innovative projects:

Dubai Residence allowed visitors to its platform to familiarize themselves with the Dubai Electronic Document System, which is a reliable digital encyclopedia for all types of travel documents and documents for various countries of the world supported by samples of images corresponding to the original document and a detailed explanation of the security features with printing technology, and this project comes within the framework of strengthening the system Security in the United Arab Emirates, and a commitment from the establishment of Dubai to achieve the goals of digital transformation of the Government of Dubai.

The “Amer Centers Challenge” project -

during its participation, Dubai residence will present the Amer Centers Challenge project and how to develop the centers in terms of providing the best services to customers, and the quality of their provision using the image classification feature, in addition to electronic linking with strategic partners by obtaining all required documents through the system without The customer needs to bring any documents.

The “Dubai Residence to Leadership Innovation” project -

through the platform, Dubai Residence will review the management’s experience in obtaining the first place in the innovation criterion at the Dubai government level, which means drawing a roadmap for public administration and bringing it to the elite level from 2016 to 2021, and includes: Four axes include all the tools that were used.

The “Emirati Passport Renewal by Proactive Service” project -
