Ukraine intends to increase the country's territorial defense forces to 2 million people

“The protocol instruction of the President of Ukraine was announced to maximize the number of our military who will deal with issues of territorial defense,” the statement said.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny set the task of bringing the number of members of the territorial defense to 2 million citizens.

Earlier, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine discussed internal and external threats to the country in a “secret” mode.
