After a long reconnaissance where the police also used telephone tapping, the man and woman were charged with aggravated procuring, writes Borås Tidning.

The woman was sentenced on Friday to three years and three months in prison, as well as deportation.

The man in his 60s is sentenced to one and a half years in prison for aiding and abetting.

Denies crime

In the judgment, the district court writes that there have been sex sales "to a very large extent" in the convicted woman's massage salons.

The district court describes that the accused woman made money from the sex trade and that the women who worked there barely received a salary at all.

The two convicts have consistently denied any wrongdoing, but the district court believes that it is completely unlikely that they would not have known about the sex trade in their business.
