"Immigration + whatever the cost +, in two months, it's over. France, land of immigration, it's over!", Promised the candidate of the National Rally, during a meeting in Vallauris in front of some 600 people, mocking "45 years of madness" and the "migratory irresponsibility" of Emmanuel Macron.

"The suction pump is running at full speed", she criticized, quantifying again at "16 billion euros" the gains achievable by limiting in particular non-contributory social aid to foreigners, a highly disputed figure.

The National Family Allowance Fund had told AFP that all allowances paid to foreigners corresponded to "9 billion euros" per year, in 2019, without the minimum old age managed by the National Old Age Insurance Fund.

The far-right candidate promised to "put an end" to "these excesses, these abuses, these frauds" that "everyone tolerates by looking elsewhere" in the face of a "submersion that does not say its name", and criticized " those who deny (it) or encourage it", who "are either blind, or dishonest, or criminal".

In a region sensitive to migratory and identity themes, highly developed by her rival Eric Zemmour, she called on the French who "do not agree to let themselves be dispossessed of their country, to let themselves be imposed (...) of life which are not theirs, to see their country let itself be buried under the veil of multiculturalism", to "say it by voting".

"The fundamental choice facing us in this election is that of the disappearance or the preservation of the France that we love", she insisted, while her supporters chanted "we are at home".

Fabien, a 23-year-old young man from Nice, came "to listen (...) how Marine Le Pen wants to go about closing the borders", saying "hesitating" between her and her competitor Eric Zemmour who also holds an anti speech -immigration.

Not far from him, Thierry, a 70-year-old from Nice, said for his part "not to worry" about "the shadow of Zemmour", deemed "too extremist" by Anne-Marie, a 62-year-old retiree who came with her husband to listen to "Marine", "more composed and with a very good project".
