The mayor of Rezé, Hervé Neau, was found dead this Friday morning in the premises of the Town Hall.
Elected officials and residents hailed a "committed", "very attentive" and "exemplary" man during a ceremony organized this evening.
They are hundreds to have responded to the invitation of the municipal elected officials of Rezé.
About 300 people had the need to gather, this Friday evening, to pay tribute to Hervé Neau, in front of the Town Hall.
Early this morning, it was inside this massive building that the lifeless body of the city councilor was found.
This 58-year-old leftist, elected for the first time in 2020 after the large victory of his Rezé civic list, killed himself there by hanging.
A shock for the 42,000 inhabitants of this town south of Nantes.

Here, everyone wants to salute the memory of this "Rezéen forever" and father of two children, described as "committed", "very attentive" and "exemplary".

No complaint had been filed.
