A week after the discovery of the lifeless body of a man, in an apartment in the city of Bigarreaux in Le Mans, a suspect was indicted for aggravated murder and remanded in custody this Friday, indicates the prosecutor of the Republic of Mans.
This 57-year-old man, who only acknowledges his presence on the scene by providing "contradictory explanations", is suspected of having inflicted "many injuries" on the 45-year-old victim, "particularly in the face".
Blows at the origin of a serious cranial trauma, which had been identified as the cause of death during the autopsy carried out on Monday, specifies the prosecutor.
Why such an outburst of violence?
The investigation is just beginning, no details on the circumstances of this tragedy and the motivations of the attacker have yet been made.
