The coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia said that the air defenses of the Kingdom destroyed a drone that was launched towards Abha International Airport in the south of the Kingdom.

The coalition reported that the interception of the drone fell in the vicinity of the airport, adding that a preliminary report indicated that there were four minor injuries to civilians, including workers and travelers.

On the other hand, navigational data for the "Flight Radar" website showed a disruption in the landing of planes heading to Abha Airport.

The coalition said it would "take firm measures in response to the threat of targeting civilian airports and travelers."
