Day three of the main hearings against the four men accused of involvement in the murder of Notviken in Luleå were entirely devoted to the key witness.

A big question in the courtroom has been about the shots fired at the car which was then found burning.

The shots must have hit the right back door from behind and based on how the witnesses told that they were standing before the shots, it has been difficult to piece together how something at the actual murder may have hit the car.

On Thursday, the key witness gave a completely new theory for how it could have happened.

- I do not want to comment in any way on what he has said, neither confirm nor deny if he has said something like that, says prosecutor Jonas Fjellström.

Theory: This is how the car was shelled

The key witness described in court how he stands close to the woman and the shooter when the shots are fired and that he froze when he realized what had happened.

He then starts running after a few shots and then has an explanation for how the shots must have hit the getaway car.

- I would think that the driver and the 19-year-old tried to escape from the scene and the 20-year-old tried to stop them with the shot.

The car started driving and after a while the shot came, the key witness said in court.

The theory that the 19-year-old and the driver first jumped into the car and started driving from there and then were stopped by the shooter shooting at them has not been previously investigated.

At the same time, the 20-year-old's lawyer Viktor Banke believes that the key witness came with several incorrect information during the first quarter of the interrogation.

- So there is a mistake in the call list from your phone.

It is wrong that you have completely without reason contacted the police that night and have a call where you state an address.

It is the wrong timestamp on the image that is created in your phone, Viktor Banke said to the key witness during the interrogation.

The key witness also perceived that the 19-year-old and the driver seemed shocked after the shots.

The 19-year-old's defender perceives this to be in his client's favor.
