Taiwan media: Ma Ying-jeou's office received a threatening letter, suspected to be sent from Hong Kong and containing "Hong Kong independence" remarks

The content of the letter stated, "Don't stop Hong Kong siblings from going to Taiwan! Those who go against me will die" and so on, and also attached 2 sheets of paper.

The police collected 2 fingerprints on the letter and are actively investigating.

  According to reports, at about 14:00 on the 9th, when the director of Ma Ying-jeou's office surnamed Wang checked the mailbox, he found a letter signed by "He Huanxi Team" with a Hong Kong stamp on the cover and a Hong Kong postmark.

  After Director Wang opened it, he found that the letter read "Warning! The Kuomintang speaks carefully! Don't stop Hong Kong siblings from going to Taiwan! Those who go against me will die."

Director Wang then immediately reported the case.

  The report said that after the police arrived, they immediately sealed the letter and sent it to the identification center for fingerprint comparison. Although two fingerprints were collected, none of the objects matched.

The police also checked the monitor and found that the letter was put into the mailbox by postal personnel at 10 am on the 9th; at present, additional police will be dispatched to patrol around Ma Ying-jeou's office and are actively investigating.
