The decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
“To form an Interdepartmental Commission of the Security Council on improving the state migration policy,” the document says.
The president also approved the provisions of the commission and its composition.
In December, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said that the Russian migration legislation needs to be improved, in connection with this, a whole series of meetings will be held on this issue.
In June, it was reported that foreign citizens entering Russia would be required to sign a "loyalty agreement" regarding the rules for staying in the country and carrying out labor activities.
