“The court granted the petition of the investigation to extend the Mirim measure of restraint in the form of detention until May 15,” the court said in a statement to TASS.

Arrested on charges of giving a bribe on an especially large scale (part 5 of article 291 of the Criminal Code of Russia), Mirimskaya was placed in a double cell in the only women's pre-trial detention center No. 6 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Moscow in the capital.

It was also reported about the detention of the investigator Yury Nosov.

In 2017, he led a case in which Mirimskaya acted as a victim.

Nosov is suspected of taking a bribe from Mirimskaya.
