Prime Minister Kishida has a telephone meeting with Iran's President Raishi on the night of the 9th, and expects the countries concerned to return to the nuclear agreement as soon as possible, given the resumption of indirect talks between the United States and Iran to rebuild the Iran nuclear agreement. I conveyed my thoughts.

The first meeting with Iran's President Raishi after the inauguration of Prime Minister Kishida last fall was held over the phone for about 30 minutes on the night of the 9th.

In this, the United States and Iran's indirect talks to rebuild the Iran nuclear agreement resumed on the 8th of this month, and Prime Minister Kishida exchanged opinions on the latest situation, and Prime Minister Kishida consistently agreed on the nuclear agreement as Japan. He supported it and expressed his hope for an early return to the nuclear agreement by the countries concerned.

The two leaders agreed to continue close communication.

At the meeting, we also exchanged opinions on the situation in the Middle East, including Yemen, where the civil war continues.
