Sputnik Lithuania reports this on its Telegram channel.

“After Lithuania terminated the contract for the transit of Belarusian potassium, the employees went on strike.

They are unhappy with the upcoming layoffs and pay cuts,” the statement said.

According to the agency, this is the first strike at a private enterprise in Lithuania since 1991.

On February 2, Belarus announced a ban on rail transit of a group of goods from Lithuania.

This decision was made after the Lithuanian side stopped the transit of Belarusian goods through its ports.
