Chinese short track hero Wang Meng countered the criticism of Ahn Hyeon-soo (Russian name Victor Ahn), the technical coach of the Chinese short track team, in Korea, saying, "Korea has no right to criticize."



According to an observer network on the 9th, Meng Wang appeared on the Internet video platform Soho Hanwi the day before and said, "I brought him (Coach Ahn) from Russia, not Korea. I brought him who wants to," he said.

The relationship between Wang Meng and Coach Ahn has been going on for over 20 years.




Meng Wang, the former general manager of the Chinese short track national team, has been acquainted with coach Ahn since 2002, and in 2018 offered her a position as a technical coach, who is the head coach of the Chinese team.



Coach Ahn decided to join the Chinese team in 2019, and announced his retirement in April 2020 the following year.
