After the violent attack on a controller in the tram in Avignon (Vaucluse), the drivers of the Orizo network exercised their right of withdrawal this Wednesday, reports France Bleu Vaucluse.

A controller was hit and dragged on the ground by an individual.

The driver's intervention put an end to the attack, and the victim had to be taken to the hospital.

Two complaints filed

This violent attack must be the subject of a meeting this Wednesday at the prefecture.

The public transport network and the victim have already filed a complaint.

Bus and tram traffic will be very disrupted, many lines will be at a standstill.

School services and transport for people with reduced mobility are not affected.
