Now the region is abolishing covid testing - except for certain groups

Covid-19 is still classified as a dangerous and socially dangerous disease.

But there is now much to suggest that it will instead be a notifiable and traceable disease.

Quite simply a respiratory disease like many other similar diseases.

This is stated by Signar Mäkitalo, infection control doctor, during a press conference on Tuesday.

This is also the reason why the general public will no longer be tested from Wednesday.

There we follow the national recommendations which say that if you have a cold or have other symptoms, you should stay at home and come back to work or something else as soon as you are healthy again.

However, the injunction does not apply to everyone.

Some groups will continue to submit PCR samples.
