“We must use all means to maintain a demanding and important dialogue with Russia in various formats,” TASS quoted him as saying.

According to the French leader, the commitment to resuming this dialogue and fulfilling the obligations of all parties was publicly expressed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Macron stressed that this is "the only way to achieve peace in Ukraine."

Earlier, the President of France announced the impossibility of normalizing the situation on the world stage without a dialogue with Russia.
