A 500 meter long bridge was blown up here

First, a small detonation went off to scare away birds and other animals.

Two minutes later, the audience both saw and heard what 120 kilos of explosives can do to an old bridge.

The blasting of the almost 500 meter long and more than 70 meter high bridge was carefully planned.

For safety reasons, the audience got to witness the spectacle from a distance of 300 meters.
