The United States is trying to reduce all the problems of international security to Ukraine, this is absolutely wrong.

This was stated by the Russian Ambassador to Washington, Anatoly Antonov, on the air of the Soloviev Live YouTube channel.

“This is an attempt to obscure the true state of affairs,” he said.

Antonov again stressed that Russia was not going to attack Ukraine.

“We are constantly talking about this, that Russia is not going to attack anyone, we don’t need it, it’s not profitable, it doesn’t meet our interests.

Building some illusory projects of Russian aggression is just nonsense,” the ambassador said.

The diplomat also called the publication of the American agency Bloomberg about Russia's alleged invasion of Ukraine an outrage.

Recall that earlier Bloomberg released the headline Russia Invades Ukraine (“Russia is invading Ukraine.” -

RT

).

The agency apologized and said that the headline was published by mistake, as journalists are preparing materials for various scenarios.

“It’s just a disgrace, it defies any explanation when they published the blanks, which, apparently, were in the“ stand-by ”, when you only need to press the button - and an article flies out that the Russians have already advanced there to the Dnieper or somewhere else either,” Antonov responded.

According to the ambassador, Moscow expects new anti-Russian sanctions from Washington, but it is not yet clear what they will be.

At the same time, he noted that he does not believe in the readiness of the United States to bring down relations with Moscow.

“Honestly, I do not believe that the Americans are ready to bring down all relations.

They believe, it seems to me, that we will not go to the end, ”he said.

In early February, the White House confirmed the preparation of sanctions lists against representatives of the Russian elites and their families in the event of an “invasion” of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.

The Russian Embassy in Washington then noted that it was the United States, and not Russia, that was the “generator of tension” in recent months.

Meanwhile, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, spoke on the air of Solovyov LIVE about the publication of the Bild publication about Russia's alleged "plan" to annex Ukraine.

“Today, they have crossed all possible boundaries of that very human, real morality, morality and ethics,” said the representative of the foreign ministry.

In addition, commenting on the day before the publication of Bloomberg on the air of the Moscow-24 TV channel, Zakharova drew attention to the fact that the publication publishes fake materials on a systematic basis.

“I don’t have this fact: intentional, accidental or semi-intentional, accidental.

I know it's systemic.

Because two weeks ago there was a similar stuffing in the same Bloomberg that allegedly Beijing and Moscow agreed that they would postpone the invasion of Ukraine in connection with the Olympics in Beijing, there was such an absolutely crazy story, it was disavowed by the Foreign Ministries and China and Russia,” she said.

In turn, Russian Deputy Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky called insanity the reports of Western countries about how many days Kyiv could be taken during a potential Russian “invasion”.

"The madness and panic continues ... what if we say that the US can take London in a week and cause the death of 300,000 civilians?"

he wrote on his Twitter.

Recently, the United States and a number of Western countries have been voicing statements about an allegedly possible military “invasion” of Russia into Ukraine.

Materials on this topic are also actively promoted by the American and Western media - no evidence is provided for this.

Moscow has repeatedly stated that Russia does not threaten anyone.

In particular, the Reuters agency published a material stating that Russia has prepared approximately 70% of the forces that would allegedly be needed for an "invasion of Ukraine."

They also, citing an unnamed senior US official, claim that if Russia decides to invade Kiev, the city, according to US officials, will fall in a couple of days.

In addition, the publication says that, according to US estimates, Ukraine's military losses could range from 5,000 to 25,000 troops, and Russian losses from 3,000 to 10,000.

Similar material was published by The Washington Post.

The publication claims that Russia allegedly deployed about 70% of the forces and means necessary for the invasion to the borders of Ukraine - for the “attack”, Russia allegedly prepared 83 battalion tactical groups, each of which consists of 750 military personnel.

At the same time, Dmitry Simes, publisher and CEO of the American National Interest magazine, said that in December he spoke with representatives of the Russian authorities, who confirmed that Moscow had no aggressive plans.

“I have not heard a single mention of the possibility of a major Russian invasion,” he wrote.

The journalist expressed the opinion that Russia would not attack Ukraine, but would give a decisive answer if it itself was attacked.

Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov has repeatedly stressed that Moscow is not preparing any invasion, and can deploy troops on its own territory where it sees fit.
