The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and a number of leaders and presidents, met during a luncheon hosted by Chinese President Xi Jinping for the heads of delegations that participated in the opening of the Winter Olympics in Beijing.

On the sidelines of the banquet, the Emir of Qatar also met today, Saturday, with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

Sheikh Tamim said, in a tweet on Twitter, that he discussed with Chinese President Xi Jinping opportunities to develop relations between the two countries to serve the interests of the two peoples.

His Highness the Amir meets with a number of Their Excellencies, Highnesses and Excellencies, leaders of brotherly and friendly countries and senior officials, participating in the opening ceremony of the 24th Winter Olympics.
