“On February 5, 38 convicts who are malicious violators of the established procedure for serving sentences and are held in cells of a punishment cell, cell-type premises, a detachment of strict conditions for serving sentences ... refused in writing to eat food prepared in the institution,” RIA Novosti was told in department.
It is noted that the prisoners protested against regime requirements, compliance with internal regulations and search activities.
Earlier, the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Kaluga Region reported that a fight broke out in correctional colony No. 3, as a result of which one prisoner died.
