In Belarus, a case was opened on the fact of a truck hitting a customs officer at the border

According to the investigation, on the afternoon of February 5, a 38-year-old resident of Brest, who was driving a road train as part of a Volvo truck tractor with a semi-trailer, hit a 28-year-old customs officer, as a result of which the woman died. 

The incident took place on the territory of the Kozlovichi customs checkpoint.

The case was initiated under the article of the Criminal Code of Belarus on violation of traffic rules, which negligently entailed the death of a person.

Earlier, the State Border Committee of Belarus reported that approximately 4.2 thousand trucks are waiting to enter the EU countries.
