As noted, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces, General Mark Milley, and the Director of National Intelligence of the United States, Avril Haynes, during a closed meeting, announced to members of the House of Representatives that Russia is preparing to conduct exercises using strategic nuclear forces in mid-February this year.

Earlier, the UK Department for Foreign Affairs and International Development allocated more than 33 million rubles to the European Leadership Network for a project to monitor Russia's nuclear risks associated with the development of new nuclear technologies.
