As Interfax reports with reference to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the republic, the incident occurred in the village of Veselaya Gora.
“As a result of poisoning (preliminarily, with carbon monoxide), five people were injured, including two children.
All were hospitalized in the Vysokogorsk Central District Hospital, ”the ministry said in a statement.
One of the victims and two children are in critical condition.
The causes of the incident are being established.
Earlier, investigators opened a criminal case into the death in a greenhouse in the Volgograd region of six citizens of Tajikistan, who, according to preliminary data, died from carbon monoxide poisoning.
