THE HISTORY OF THE CLAN

The Los Gordos clan has been dedicated for several decades to drug trafficking in the town of Valdemingómez, in the

Cañada Real Galiana

.

The patriarchs are Juan José Hernández Ramírez and his wife, Adela Motos García, sentenced to 12 years in prison for crimes against public health as heads of the organization and illegal possession of weapons.

During the trial that year, they alleged that they had won the lottery in 2003 to justify the 35,000 euros that were found in their house located in

Pozo del Tío Raimundo

, as well as the gold jewelry valued at 12,000 euros.

The patriarchs and their assistants were arrested in the framework of an operation initiated in October 2011 by

the XIV Group of the UDYCO

of the Provincial Brigade of the Judicial Police of Madrid, which carried out monitoring and surveillance of one of the defendants, known by the nickname of

'Piecitos'

, who was in daily contact with another of the defendants in the town of Valdemingómez.

Both had been in charge for a long time of supervising and controlling the illegal trafficking of narcotic substances that was carried out on a daily basis, in the retail modality, in various locations or plots owned by the so-called

'Los Gordos'

clan , in charge of which were the two other defendants in the case, which are marriage.

One of the defendants performed

surveillance

and security functions from outside the plots aboard a Rover vehicle, while the other did so from inside the plots, as the couple's most trusted man.

The aforementioned couple, leaders of the organization, came daily to personally supervise the functioning of the operation and, on occasions, to supply

narcotic substances

.

Both fully controlled the organization, management and distribution of money among the members of the group, direct family members or third parties.
