The police station in Vannes (Morbihan) has launched a call for witnesses to find two brothers aged 10 and 12.
On Wednesday, when they had an appointment with a social worker, the two boys placed in foster care fled.
They ran towards the city center and the police failed to locate them.
The eldest is named Rachid and is 12 years old.
Measuring 1.50 meters, he weighs 40 kg and has brown hair, cut short, and brown eyes.
At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a navy blue bomber jacket, gray jacket, gray jeans and gray and white sneakers.
The youngest is named Ilhan, is 10 years old and measures 1.55 meters for 50 kg.
He has brown hair and brown eyes.
When he fled, he had on him a black jacket with a fur collar, navy sweatpants and black sports shoes.
