An Egyptian parliamentarian responds to critics of her smoking during the Cameroon match: I am free in a free world

A deputy in the Egyptian Parliament confirmed that she had the "photo of the cheerleader who smokes", which appeared in the stands of the Egyptian fans, during the semi-final match against Cameroon in the African Nations Championship.

Representative Amira Al-Adly explained that she is the owner of the photo, and the matter does not constitute any kind of harassment for her, stressing that she loves smoking despite her knowledge that it is a bad health habit and has no intention of quitting.

She added that she does not advise anyone to smoke, but at the same time she loves it, saying, "I am free in a free world."

And she called on the speakers in this matter to stop the "idiot talk" and to encourage their country's team, which will meet Senegal next Sunday, to return to the eighth African Championship in its history.
