The United States has told the Kremlin that it is ready to discuss giving Russia the opportunity to make sure that missiles are not stationed at NATO bases in Romania and Poland.

It is specified that we are talking about Tomahawk multi-purpose cruise missiles.

In response, the United States hopes that Russia "will provide similar information about certain military bases" on its territory, Bloomberg notes.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken told Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that Washington was ready for serious diplomatic work with Moscow on a reciprocal basis.
