Yemeni legitimate forces liberate new areas in Marib and Al-Bayda

Field sources in Marib governorate confirmed that fighting continued on the southern governorate fronts between the Yemeni legitimate forces backed by tribes on the one hand, and the terrorist Houthi militia on the other, concentrated in the districts of Al-Abdiya, Al-Juba, and Raghwan, while the Arab coalition fighters continued to launch their support raids in those areas.

The sources stated that, during the past few hours, the legitimate forces and tribes were able to liberate new areas in the vicinity of Al Hamran, Al Sufi, Najd and Al Hijla regions, between Al Juba and Harib, with the aim of implementing a bypass operation on Umm Reesh camp from the southern side, with the incoming forces continuing. From the Al-Faliha axis, north of the camp, the forces, with the support of the coalition fighters, were able to liberate the Ghoraba area above Wadi al-Nahr in the Nata district, east of al-Bayda.

For its part, the coalition fighters demolished Houthi sites in Nati’ in Al-Bayda. They also targeted militia reinforcements while they arrived at the Al-Juba market in the district center, coming from Al-Bayda, which led to the destruction of mechanisms and the death of many Houthis, including the Houthi reinforcement leader Abu Al-Fiqar Yahya Al-Riyasi.

And Yemeni field and military sources confirmed the continuation of military operations in southern Marib and east of al-Bayda, in light of the presence of new forces that are entering the theater of combat operations affiliated with the "Happy Yemen Brigade", which will have a major role in opening new fronts in other governorates.

On the other hand, the forces participating in the liberation of Harib, south of Marib, seized a large amount of combat equipment and weapons left by the militias at the Al-Thawra School, which they turned into a weapons depot and a combat barracks for its members before the directorate was liberated.

The Houthi militia failed to break the siege on its members in the Al-Lajma and Al-Balaq Al-Sharqi area, after launching attacks on the Al-Akd Al-Ramli front, and through the centuries of Al-Bor, towards Al-Lajma.

However, the Yemeni forces repelled the attacks, and carried out a counterattack that left dozens dead and wounded among the Houthis, in addition to destroying the mechanisms and weapons used in the attacks.

On the northwestern front of Marib, artillery of the army and tribes demolished Houthi positions in the Raghwan district, which led to the destruction of four Houthi combat vehicles and the killing of the elements on board, according to field sources, confirming the death and injury of dozens of Houthis.

This coincided with the coalition's targeting of a Houthi site in the same district, which led to the destruction of mechanisms and the death of Houthi elements. Female fighters also targeted Houthi sites in Serwah, and others on the outskirts of the sandy desert front, south and east of the eastern Balqa.

On the other hand, field sources said that the Houthi militia buried their dead who fell in Marib and Shabwa, in the desert near Umm Rish camp, south of Marib, with mass graves, due to their large number, and hiding the bodies from their families so as not to cause a revolution against them.

In Al-Jawf, coalition warplanes destroyed Houthi combat vehicles in the northern axis of the province, which were on their way to the seam areas in Al-Ajasher, and three raids targeted Houthi combat vehicles in the Khub Wal Sha'af district.

In Hodeidah, coalition fighters destroyed weapons for militias in the south of the governorate that were threatening civilians and civilian objects, while Houthi mines killed a person, while he was passing near his home in the center of the district, which required the joint forces to send an engineering team to the area to discover a Houthi minefield that was threatening life civilians.

In Taiz, 9 members of the Houthi militia were killed and wounded, while weapons, including an anti-aircraft machine gun, were destroyed in raids by the Arab coalition targeting Houthi sites in the Al-Sarah area in the Jabal Habashi district, west of the province.

In Sanaa, elements of the Houthi militia attempted to assassinate Judge Akram Qassem Abdullah al-Lahji, a member of the Specialized Criminal Prosecution, after he left his home in the Sarf area, north of the capital, without knowing the reasons.
