The New Zealand Prime Minister is in isolation after contact in the "air"

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has gone into self-isolation after coming into close contact with a case of COVID-19, according to a statement from her office.

The contact occurred on the twenty-second of this month during a flight from Kerikeri to Auckland, according to what was reported on Saturday by Bloomberg News Agency.

According to the statement: "The Prime Minister has not shown symptoms, and she is feeling well."

Ardern will be tested on Sunday, and she will continue to isolate until next Tuesday.

New Zealand's Governor-General Cindy Kerro and members of her staff were also on the same plane, and are now following the same isolation instructions.
