The two parties are negotiating again today (30th) as the working-level bilateral discussion negotiations between Democratic Party Lee Jae-myung and People's Power presidential candidate Yoon Seok-yeol broke down again after failing to narrow their differences over the topic of discussion. The two candidates are working hard to prepare for the debate today without any public schedule.

What did not reach an agreement was the topic and format of the discussion.



The Democratic Party insisted on dividing it into economics for the people's livelihood, foreign affairs and security, and verification of morality, but the people's power opposed it, demanding free discussion without any subject restrictions.



The two parties will hold additional consultations at 11 a.m. today.



The National Election Commission gave an authoritative interpretation that it was impossible to broadcast the bilateral debate.



Democratic Party candidate Lee Jae-myung announced a pledge to expand and install 5G-based public Wi-Fi on all buses and subways nationwide by next year, and to eradicate false sales in the used car market.



This candidate plans to focus on preparing for today's debate.

People's Strength candidate Yoon Seok-yeol promised to expand health insurance coverage for severe diseases and rare cancers with a voter-tailored 'heart attack pledge'.



Rep. Hong Jun-pyo, who placed 2nd in the party primary, accepted the position of permanent advisor to the election headquarters and joined the party, and as the presidential slogan, 'People's choice, right now! After confirming ‘Yoon Seok-yeol’, the camp line was also improved.



Candidate Yoon also plans to focus on devising a discussion strategy without a public schedule today.



Justice Party candidate Shim Sang-jung focuses on preparing for a four-party debate today, and People's Party candidate Ahn Cheol-soo holds an emergency press conference condemning the bilateral debate.
