Politicians and tweeters circulated on social media funny pictures of the new Belgian passport, which contains historical figures and drawings of animals and birds, as well as cartoon characters from famous Belgian stories.

And the official account of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs published a propaganda video designed using animation techniques, in order to introduce the new passport and the cartoon symbols used in it.

And the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the passport will be available for application starting on the seventh of next February, through the government of the city in which the Belgian citizen lives inside, or from the consulates if he lives in another country.

The Belgian researcher Denis Fritz pointed out that the new passport was designed by the company "Zetes" for industries and technology.

Wirtz posted a video of the new design with the caption, "My brother Allen's company Theats have made the coolest passport on the planet."

The Belgian Consul in New York City, Frank Jerkins, expressed his opinion about the new design by publishing a picture of a consulate employee holding the new passport, commenting on it, saying, “The Belgian government launched a new passport with a new and unique design that features the shapes of Belgian cartoon characters and comics, here is our employee Marilyn. She holds the latest Belgian passport with a Tintin missile."

Hungary's ambassador to Belgium Tamas Ivan Kovacs also wrote a tweet congratulating the issuance of this passport, noting that it contains drawings of famous cartoon characters such as Tintin, Smurfs and Lucky Luke.
