“We note with colleagues that a feature of the new wave of morbidity, where omicron becomes dominant, is an increase in the load on the primary outpatient link,” Protsenko said.

The doctor noted that in the situation with "omicron" a relatively mild course of the disease is recorded, and hospitalization "is growing at a less explosive pace."

He clarified that the majority of patients are treated by therapists.

Protsenko noted that in this regard, attention is now being paid to restarting the primary link.
