Even if the pharmaceutical company Moderna's chief medical officer has received both the company's COVID-19 vaccine and booster shots, the protective effect may disappear by the fall.
Moderna's chief medical officer, Paul Burton, told CNN that "If you get Moderna's vaccine and get a booster shot, you'll get a great level of protection against the protozoan COVID-19 virus as well as the omicron species."
However, he said, "About six months after vaccination, the level of protection began to decline," he predicted.
