According to the CTK news agency, the Czech Republic is donating 4,000 artillery shells to Ukraine worth about 37 million crowns, which is equivalent to €1.5 million.
According to the Czech authorities, this gesture is an expression of solidarity with Ukraine during the escalation of tension on the eastern border of the country.
Earlier, Czech Defense Minister Yana Chernokhova said that the Czech Republic could send its military to Ukraine if Kiev sends a request and Prague approves it.
