Bloomberg: US hands over response to security proposals to Russia

As CNN previously reported, the US administration may send a written response to Russia on proposals for security guarantees as early as Wednesday, January 26.

The Russian Foreign Ministry noted that Moscow expects a written response from the United States to each offer of security guarantees.

Minister Sergey Lavrov also said that Russia would not publish the US response if such a request were made, but the substance of the US response "deserves that the public in Russia and elsewhere should be informed about this."
