Blinken said that the US will not abandon the principle of "open doors" of NATO

He said this at a briefing.

NATO's door is open.

And it will remain open,” Blinken said.

Blinken also said that he plans in the coming days to discuss with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov the situation with the US response to Moscow's proposals on security guarantees.

On January 26, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed receipt of a written response from the United States regarding the proposals for security guarantees.
