This man-woman duo, as at the Tokyo Games, was elected by a college of "ambassadors" from the various federations.

He succeeds five-time Olympic biathlon champion Martin Fourcade, standard bearer at the PyeongChang Games in 2018. Biathlete and cross-country skier Benjamin Daviet will lead the French delegation to the opening of the Paralympic Games (March 4-13).
