The case was initiated after the death of a woman in an ice hole in the Leningrad region

According to investigators, on January 19, a woman born in 1981 jumped into a makeshift hole on the Oredezh River in the village of Vyra, Gatchina District, Leningrad Region, and went under water.

So far, the woman's body has not been found.

Search and rescue activities continue.

Earlier, kp.ru reported that three specialists from Moscow and two from Ivanovo arrived in search of the woman.

Diving service "Vosvod" and volunteer public association "LizAlert" are also participating in the search.
