Achraf K., a 22-year-old man, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Monday evening for the murder of 25-year-old Logan Maillard.
The latter had died on February 27, 2019 after receiving numerous stab wounds rue de Douarnenez, in the northern districts of Nantes.
Achraf K. had been appearing since January 20 before the Loire-Atlantique Assize Court.
The accused gave different versions throughout the investigation.
We learn in the columns of

that the Assize Court dismissed the "premeditation of gestures".
The motive remains unexplained for the time being.
