As a justification for adding him to the database, it was indicated that he was an "anti-Ukrainian propagandist."

Earlier, the former Commander-in-Chief of the Naval Forces (Navy) of Germany, Vice Admiral Kai-Achim Schönbach, was included in the database of the Ukrainian resource "Peacemaker" for his position on the Crimea.
