According to him, Washington believes that direct interaction between the United States and Iran would contribute to more productive work both in terms of restoring the Iranian nuclear deal and on other issues.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that Tehran could enter into direct negotiations with Washington if necessary to reach an agreement on a nuclear deal.
