“First and foremost, all the diplomatic missions of Western states continue to work and nothing changes on a practical level.

We consider these decisions as a result of certain internal political discussions in some countries where the government does not want to face obviously excessive criticism through the dangerous nuances of the work of diplomats,” UNIAN quotes Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the presidential office.

He noted that such actions of foreign states are not evacuation, because most of the employees of diplomatic missions remain in Ukraine.

Podolyak also added that this decision could be reviewed by other countries in February.

Earlier it became known that Britain began to withdraw part of the staff of the embassy in Kiev.
