  According to Reuters and several foreign media reports on January 24, Burkina Faso President Kabore has been detained by rebel soldiers to a military camp in the capital Ouagadougou.

Another source said that on the evening of the 23rd, gunshots rang out near Kabore's presidential palace in the capital Ouagadougou, and a fierce gun battle broke out between the presidential palace guards and armed rebel soldiers.

  Since the early morning of the 23rd, there have been shootings and exchanges of fire in several military camps in Burkina Faso, including the capital Ouagadougou.

On the same day, the cloth government also ordered the implementation of a planned curfew from 8:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on the 23rd.
