The four municipalities in the northern county will continue to cooperate when it comes to, among other things, water and sewage and sanitation, in a new joint committee for which Lindesberg municipality will be the principal.
The proposal is now up for decision in each municipality and the purpose of the changes is to create clarity for the residents.

I call the municipality, which is linked to the same expertise, says Bengt Storbacka (S), chairman of the municipal board in Lindesberg, about the changes.
The proposal means that some of the municipal association's activities will be moved to each municipality and some activities will continue to be based on cooperation between the municipalities of Hällefors, Lindesberg, Ljusnarsberg and Nora.
Work on the changes around the collaboration through Samhällsbyggnad Bergslagen has been ongoing since 2019, according to a press release from Nora municipality.
