The Patra district, where the general hospital was built on an area of 5 hectares, overlooks the sea. It is far from the city center and its basic infrastructure is poorly developed.

The commissioning of the hospital therefore puts balm in the hearts of the inhabitants.

It's a sigh of relief because it brings more.

This allows people to heal as close as possible quickly.

Whether it's pregnant women or vulnerable people

, "says a resident.

“

Well, before, we went to the Adolphe Cissé, Loandjili or Congo-Malembé hospital.

It was too far.

Here, it's good, because it's close

, ”describes a lady on condition of anonymity.

In addition to this proximity, the beneficiary populations want consultation and hospitalization costs to be affordable.

Hospital is good.

But the costs must be reduced so that the entire population can have access to and have quality care

,” suggests a user.

Health Minister Gilbert Mokoki has urged healthcare professionals to continually strive for performance.

Last year the Congolese branch of the Coalition "Publish what you pay" deplored the fact that in 2019 none of the 77 health infrastructure construction projects, budgeted at nearly 10 billion CFA francs (15 million euros), was not completely completed.
